Is there a chance to get a Golden Visa for Portugal?

Earlier, the Portuguese government announced the complete cessation of the Golden Visa through Investment program.

Partial retention of the residence permit for investment program is now being considered: to remove the possibility of acquiring real estate and transferring capital to a local bank, but maintaining other options.

Possible conditions for obtaining a residence permit:

Purchase of shares in investment funds - from 500,000 €. At the same time, the funds should go to the development of companies, and the repayment periods should be at least five years. From 60% of the investment value will need to be realized in Portuguese companies;

Investments in the cultural heritage of the country - from 250,000 €;
Investments in scientific projects - from 500,000 €;
Business investments — from 500,000 €;
Opening a company and creating at least 10 jobs - the minimum amount is not established by law.
