It's time to buy property in Cyprus.

Cyprus Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides, speaking before the Finance Committee of the House of Representatives, said that back in early September 2020, the authorities had applied for the accession of Cyprus to the Schengen area. “This decision was taken for security reasons, and now the European Union will start a five-step assessment process,” Christodulidis said.
The Minister said that the accession of Cyprus to the Schengen area is a priority and expressed optimism that the Republic of Cyprus will not face any problems in the accession assessment process.

Experts are confident that Cyprus will inevitably become part of the Schengen zone since the country's movement vector is obvious: in 2004, Cyprus became part of the European Union, and since January 2008, Cypriots have been using the euro as their official currency.
Also, they predict that as soon as Cyprus enters the Schengen zone, there will be a significant jump in property prices, and they recommend that foreign investors planning to buy property in Cyprus do it in a timely manner - before the cost of housing increases.
