Simplified UAE visas for relatives of residence permit holders

UAE residents can now sponsor friends and family for a three-month visitor visa. With it, you can spend 180 days a year in Dubai continuously.

This decision is aimed at increasing the attractiveness of the status of a resident, increasing the tourist flow and the population of the country.

A resident of the UAE can apply for a visa for family members of the first or second degree of kinship: parents, brothers and sisters. You can also apply for a visa for relatives of the spouse of a resident.

To apply for a visitor visa, a resident must work in the UAE and prove a certain level of income. He can sponsor:

• up to five family members with an income of 10,000 dirhams (≈ $ 2,750);
• up to six - with income over 15,000 dirhams (≈ $ 4,100).
