Is there a chance to get a Golden Visa for Portugal?
Partial retention of the residence permit for investment program is now being considered: to remove the possibility of acquiring real estate and transferring capital to a local bank, but maintaining other options.
Possible conditions for obtaining a residence permit:
- Purchase of shares in investment funds - from 500,000 €. At the same time, the funds should go to the development of companies, and the repayment periods should be at least five years. From 60% of the investment value will need to be realized in Portuguese companies;
- Investments in the cultural heritage of the country - from 250,000 €;
- Investments in scientific projects - from 500,000 €;
- Business investments — from 500,000 €;
- Opening a company and creating at least 10 jobs - the minimum amount is not established by law.
