At the moment in Cataloniam, more than 30,000 commercial properties are not being used. In connection with this problem, a proposal was made to reform such empty commercial items into residential property.
Over the past few years, the number of commercial facilities that do not work – are not used – increased by 7%. A significant amount of such property are located in Barcelona and Tarragona.
The authors of the study on how to adapt not-used commercial facilities make a proposal – such "dead" items of real estate can be reorganized into living quarters, apartments.
