The Clemente Della Rovere Palace is a gorgeous classical Genovese architectural gem located in the city centre on the exclusive Via Roma. The palace became a UNESCO International Heritage Site on July 13 2006 and is also listed on Genoa’s ‘Palazzi dei Rolli’ which is the city register of important historical buildings in which the Republic of Genoa hosted high dignitaries of states. In this particular instance the hosting took place in the year of 1599. Founded by Clemente Della Rovere between 1580 and 1581, the building is a complex structure composed of two separate buildings, the smallest of which is also included in the ‘Rollo’. There is a facilities area and a 100 m. sq. terrace.
